Steve Jones, MBA (Finance)., BSc.

Mr. Steve Jones has over 27 years of experience teaching and lecturing. He spent the better part of 9 years educating kids and young adults across two schools in Kingston, Jamaica. During this period, Mr. Jones co-founded the His Majesty Youth Club, providing advice, mentoring, and education to school dropouts.

Mr. Jones relocated to Nassau, The Bahamas, in 2004 as a teacher of accounting and economics at the Jordan Prince Williams Baptist School. In 2005, he introduced the critical club to the school and was the first teacher advisor to the young leaders and volunteers. Mr. Jones was appointed the Head of the business department in 2006, a position he currently executes. He was appointed Vice-Principal in 2021 and performed these duties for the Jordan Prince Williams Baptist School.

Mr. Jones has a passion for business. In addition to his work at the Jordan Prince Williams Baptist School, he provides financial advice and assists with preparing annual financial statements and reporting for the Bahamas Baptist Missionary Educational Convention (BBMEC). He also is the co-owner, manager, and financial controller of a successful townhouse vacation rental business that provides affordable accommodations to the public.
